The Westchester Water Works Conference is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to bring together those interested in the problems of water supply and distribution, for the benefit of themselves and the people they serve.
The Conference’s main objective is to offer workshops that provide training on the management, operation, and maintenance of water systems. These workshops also provide continuing education units to members with New York State Health Department certifications.
WWWC acknowledges and supports the community by offering an annual scholarship and advancement award. The Russell Kohl Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in courses leading to an associate or bachelor degree and is open to all County residents. The Water System Advancement Award is presented to a Westchester County system project that enhances water supply in a substantial manner. An Operator's Meritorious Service Award recognizes special performance and contribution. All superintendents and managers are eligible.
In addition to these programs, WWWC makes an annual contribution supporting Water for People.
Sponsorship will help finance the programs of the Westchester Water Works Conference.
